Williamsburg is a town of 473 people in Green Township, one of 15 townships in Wayne County, in eastern Indiana. Settlers came down from North Carolina in 1810, before Indiana was a state, and the town was laid out in 1830 and named after its founder. The Williamsburg area reaches from there to Winchester, 15 miles off, and to Eaton, 24 miles away, which is in Ohio, in Preble County, on the Indiana border.

Its four murders arrive in three episodes spread from 2003 to 2018. Episode 654 has two of them, in Williamsburg itself in February 2010. Episode 738 goes to Winchester for a case in July 2003 and another in November 2018. Episode 5 takes in Eaton for January 2007. Rank 55 overall and first in Indiana, it is a total that builds across one corner of the state over 15 years, with two murders at most in any single episode.
