I didn't mean
to make this.

I was looking for the episode with a shout-out for my name. I'm a developer and inherently lazy, so instead of scrubbing through three years' worth of episodes, I built a process to download each one, diarise it (work out who is speaking, and when) and then search it phonetically for my name.

It worked, and the dataset was really, REALLY good. So instead of just the past three years, I went back to the beginning and diarised everything. A few episodes aren't on the Patreon feed or the public feed but are on YouTube, so I did those too.

With every episode searchable, the towns, the figures, the reviews and the cases were all sitting there. This site is what came out of it.

This is an unofficial fan site, not made by or connected to Small Town Murder. If you like what you find here, go and listen: the official site, and the Patreon.
