“Enid is very boring but the reviewer likes that; has lived there three years, says the crime rate is low, the only issue was threats at Enid High School and nothing happened, so it is a little boring.”

“One of the most boring cities the reviewer has lived in; the city does not want to build anything to attract tourists, officials do not do what the residents elect them to do and hold back paperwork for new businesses.”

The story

Her sister Kim said the sisters learned to be private because they had a severely disabled brother. In her senior year, 1982, she began dating Robert 'Rob' Andrew, a year or two older, who was studying advertising at Oklahoma State University and came from a similarly religious Baptist family. They met at the local swimming pool, introduced by Rob's younger brother Tom.

The couple lived in Oklahoma City and then in South Texas, outside Houston, for Rob's advertising work. Their daughter Tricity was born on 23 December 1990 and their son Parker on 27 September 1994. From about 1997 the marriage fractured. She broke it off in May 2001 because there was someone else.

On the night of 25-26 October 2001 someone cut the brake lines on Rob's car.

At about 6.20 p.m. on 20 November 2001 Rob pulled into the driveway to collect the children for the Thanksgiving weekend. He was on his mobile phone to Stump and said, 'I've gotta go, they're coming out.' The children were safe in the furthest back bedroom with the door shut and the television turned up very loud. Rob had been shot twice with a 16-gauge shotgun, once in the side and once downward into the neck; pellets damaged his right lung, trachea, liver and aorta, and the medical examiner said he would have bled to death within ten minutes. She said the men fled on foot, that they spoke only six or seven words which she could not remember, and that after being shot she walked through the house to telephone and check on the children, yet there was no blood trail and no blood on the telephone.

Rob's funeral was held on 26 November 2001 at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City. She and the children never arrived.

The children went to Rob's parents.

Tennessee, and sent the case back to the Tenth Circuit.
